Should I switch High Schools?

I am going to be a sophmore this year and I do not like my high school. I don't feel like I fit in there, I hav my litte group of about six or seven friends but they're all mostly into partying and drugs an i'm not. (One f thm is y bet friend) The school doesn't have terrible academics but they're not the best either. I'm afraid o not making many friends and ending up in the same social situation I am now. I'm also worried my friends will be mad a me for leaving. I know someone at the school i'm considering switching to and she said it's a really good school but i'm not sure what to do. Any advice will be much appreciated.
