How do I change my email in my mail app for my iPod touch?

So, just recently I changed my password for my email because I think some1 had it saved in a computer I used before. Anyways now that i hav changed my password I get a notification whenever I check my mail app that says ,"Cannot get mail: connection to server failed." Is there anyway I can sign out and sign back in?
