Pregnant ghost shrimp eggs changed color?

I got a female ghost shrimp that is pregnant. I got her... day before yesterday I think. When I got her the eggs were dark brown, with white/clear dots. Yesterday they started turning a minty green, and now they are white-ish clear. Is she ready to have them? What should I expect? How should I feed them? I've heard you can crush tropical flakes to thin powder, and that should help. I have the female in a 10 gallon with a male. No other fish.i have made hiding places small enough that they can hide from adoult ghost shrimp if they need to... I think. I've turned to filter off so they wouldn't get sucked in. I don't really have a sponge to put in it, but i'm looking for one. Again, is she about ready to have her fry?
