Having trouble installing LOTR BFME 2?

I'm trying to install the lord of the rings the battle for middle earth 2 on my PC but it stops at 19% on the file data\movies\CS51.vp6 and says "a problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'E:\data\movies\CS51.vp6' from the media.". i hav tried installing in safemode and the same thing happens. I havent found an answer to this problem though i have searched. idk if its related but i also tried to install bfme1 and the installation went fine but i got a runtime error when i tried to play it. AND i downloaded a demo of bfme2 and it wont work either. my PC is a brand new HP with plenty of power and windows 7 home premium 64-bit. PLEASE HELP THIS IS MY FAVORITE GAME
