Can i charge an htc evo 4g on a make magazine minty boost?

OK. so i bought an htc evo. love it. however the battery life is rather on the low side. this thing drains power. i was thinking about buying the minty boost kit from the makezine builder store. i know this thing works with ipones and ipods. however will this work with the evo?
